Backflow Testing

We provide backflow testing as is required by all water purveyors in Clark County. That includes the cities of Vancouver, Ridgefield, Camas, Battle Ground, Washougal, and Clark Public Utilities. The charge is $42.00 per test. We are not required to charge sales tax for this 'testing service' as per the Department of Revenue.

If you would like, we can make a specific appointment time if you wish to be present when we do the test. However, for your convenience you do not have to be present. Our normal procedure is to come and perform the test, send the original test report to the appropriate water purveyor, and send you your copy of the test with your bill. We will take care of the entire procedure for you.

Also included in our testing fee is any internal cleaning of the device if for some reason it fails the test. Most failures are the result of debris in the device, which when removed allows for a successful test. In less than 2% of tests, parts are required with an additional charge. You would be notified with a price if that were the case and we would not proceed without your authorization.
